Bridge Volunteer Leadership Training - Autumn 2007

Are you looking for a new volunteer opportunity? Are you already a Bridge volunteer and would like to sharpen your skills? Come on out to The Bridge Volunteer Leadership Training! The next training will be Saturday, Oct 20, 2007. This is a FREE training offered only twice per year. Ages 13 to 113 are welcome. Adult Staff are just as needed as Youth Staff. The only requirement is that you Join The Bridge Volunteer Staff!are mature and are capable of being a leader and work with a team in a group situation. We also ask that you attend at least four Bridge Drop-in Sessions prior to making the commitment to volunteer. Food will be provided at the Training. The Bridge Takes A Vacation - August

Just a reminder that The Bridge office and Weekly Drop-in Sessions closes during the month of August. The office reopens the first Tuesday in September. The first two Tuesday nights in September are reserved for Staff Development, while our Weekly Drop-In Sessions are once again open to the public beginning the third Tuesday of September. The Bridge gets a little help from Ron Jaworski's JAWS - October 2005

The JAWS Youth Fund Fall Golf Classic, which is held at Valleybrook Country Club, brings together celebrity athletes and local businesses to raise money and provide grant support to programs serving at-risk youth throughout Camden County. This year, The Bridge was chosen as a funding recipient for this fun event! We know, firsthand, just how fun it was; a bunch of our youth and adult volunteers went to help out during the day! The Bridge Hosts Party for 25th Anniversary! - September 2005

Wow - time flies when you're having fun! On Saturday September 24, 2005, The Bridge, started 25 years ago by teens for teens, threw a huge party for its 25th Anniversary! Everyone that has attended The Bridge at one point in time was invited and it was so wonderful to see so many of you (and your families!). Many thanks to all our volunteers who helped plan, organize, cook, decorate, host, and of course, clean-up! See you for our next big Anniversary!

Bridge Chosen as Fundraising Recipient - Spring 2004 & 2005

The 2004 Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Award Committee chose The Bridge as the recipient of the funds raised by May's Silent Auction! The auction broke records as it raised almost $6000! The 2005 DE Valley HR Person of the Year Award Committee has also generously donated an additional $5000 of the funds raised at the 2005 Event to The Bridge! We thank you!


William T. Grant Foundation supports The Bridge!
